Crown Sports Bar DFW is a woman-led, minority-owned sports bar and taco lounge in Hurst, Texas, from the family behind Crown Catering Texas (est. 2010). It serves build-your-own tacos, bowls, and burritos with fresh tortillas, a full TABC-licensed bar, and live sports — minutes from AT&T Stadium.
Our story
Founded in 2010 by Liliana Tortolero.
Crown started as a catering kitchen serving the DFW Metroplex in 2010. Owner Liliana Tortolero and co-owner Chris Esparza built it on one promise: real food, made by hand, delivered on time — at the scale a corporate lunch crowd or a 400-person wedding actually demands.
Fifteen-plus years later, the catering arm — Crown Catering Texas — is trusted by Fortune-500 teams across the Metroplex. The Hurst kitchen at 801 Trailwood Dr has served the neighborhood as Crown Cantina & Grill, then Crown Taco Bar & Grill, and is now reopening as Crown Sports Bar DFW — a sports-bar and taco-lounge format with a full TABC bar, live sports on every screen, and the same build-your-own taco menu locals already know.
The pivot is simple: Hurst sits ten minutes from AT&T Stadium and twelve from Globe Life Field. FIFA World Cup 2026 brings the planet to Arlington from June 11 through July 14, 2026. Crown was built to be the place you walk into after — or before — a match.
